Both Rolfing® Structural Integration and Structural Integration (SI) were developed by Dr. Ida Rolf. Rolfing® is a branded name taken from her name. Only practitioners certified by the Dr. Ida Rolf Institute and active members of Rolfing® AA can use this name.

There are many structural integration schools that branched out from the Dr. Ida Rolf Institute, where graduates can call themselves Structural Integrators (SI practitioners).

Some SI training schools are

*Dr. Ida Rolf Institute

*Anatomy Trains Structural Integration (ATSI)

*The American Guild for Structural Integration

*Institute of Structural Medicine (ISM™)

*New School of Structural Integration (NEWSSI)

*Morales method® Academy of Structural Integration (MMASI)

Methodologically, both Rolfing® and SI practitioners offer 10-12 series format sessions. Also, both aim to align, realign, and balance the body within gravity by focusing on the manipulation of fascia. Furthermore, both are designed to improve movement and body awareness.

Mind Body Potential offers both Rolfing® SI by Yasuka Ito and SI by Kay Akahane. Both practitioners graduated from the Dr. Ida Rolf Institute of Boulder, CO (USA).

If you are seeking an English-speaking Rolfer® or Structural Integration Practitioner for maintenance sessions or a full series, please reach out to us for more information about the sessions.
