Manual Therapy Modalities/Techniques
Oil Massage
Oil Massage is based on the Western concepts of anatomy and physiology. It can be light or deep, gentle or vigorous, depending on what the client and therapist want to achieve. It is the manipulation of muscle, joints, and soft connective tissue to enhance function, aid in the healing process, and promote relaxation and well-being.
Fascial Work
Fascia is a connective tissue that lies all over the body, such as under the skin, surrounding muscles, nerves, organs, blood vessels, and others. The fascia and deep tissue can become adherent as a result of repetitive motion, injury, tension, or poor posture, and this can lead to chronic pain, tension, or loss of range of motion. Facial work will focus on easing the pain believed to arise from myofascial tissues while also enhancing the shearing of the layers of tissues.
Prenatal/Postpartum Care
Prenatal Care helps to ease uncomfortable pregnancy conditions such as discomfort in the lower back, stiff shoulders, swollen hands and feet, and other conditions. It also minimizes stress and promotes relaxation. Postpartum Care (up to 3 months after delivery) relieves the discomforts of postpartum conditions such as lower back, neck, and shoulder pain, fatigue and weakness, headaches, and scar tissue.
Structural Integration Work
If you are seeking a comprehensive analysis and structural change, Structural Integration (SI) is very beneficial. SI works on the fascia, a web-like complex of connective tissues. It also helps to restore flexibility, revitalize your energy, and make you feel more at ease in your own skin. We provide 10+ series to refine your system to improve your mobility, stability and balance.
PNF/Stretch
Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) is a more advanced form of flexibility training, which involves both the stretching and contracting of the muscle group being targeted. PNF stretching is one of the most effective forms of stretching for improving flexibility and increasing range of motion. The stretch helps to improve muscle flexibility, and joint range of motion, decrease the risk of injuries and facilitate muscle efficiency and overall performance in physical and sports activities.
Trigger Point Work
It is a soft tissue technique that works to release pain, and tension in muscles, and fascia that you would usually experience as a knot in the muscle.
Deep Tissue Work
Deep Tissue Work will be aimed at the deeper tissue structures of the muscle and connective tissue.
Joint Mobilization
Joint mobilization techniques applied to joints at slow speed with or without oscillations to increase joint movement, restore AROM, and decrease pain.
Passive & Active
ROM (Range of motion) Work
It is applied to joints to move them through their physiological range. They are essential in restoring normal joint movement and function and decreasing pain.
Reflexology
Reflexology is the massage of specific areas of the feet and can have therapeutic effects on the other parts of the body and certain organs. Stimulating these reflex areas benefits the body as a whole, and improves general health.
Facial & Scalp Care
Facial and scalp myofascial release work and massage on facial muscles and the lymphatic system will help to ease restrictions, remove waste products, and rejuvenate skin. It also restores facial freedom and elasticity to help lift the face line. Recommended with body treatment.*Lift up facial*TMJ issue
