"It's like speaking another language in the world of connective tissue." by Sharon Wheeler

Thoughts after finishing the class;
Sharon mentioned that working on the scar will be a distinct experience compared to Myofascial work. She mentioned that it feels like micro-Rolfing, and I totally agree with her. I need to trust my hands and feel the quality of the tissue, listen to the micro change. Quality of the tissue changes with gentle stroke. Why? vibration, heat, and direction of the fluid.... we do not know yet.
It was an amazing experience and also very surprising to know that such a delicate work can change the form of decayed scars. It's amazing to hear that many of our model patients mentioned that they feel like their scars are a part of their body again.
*Scar work can be incorporated to our session from now on. If you have any specific scars that you want us to address or work on, please do not hesitate to contact us anytime. We can work on on C-section surgery, any post-surgery scars, burn scars, and other.
